The Investment Club (iClub)  provides a platform on which members learn valuable investing skills that are applicable throughout their lives. These are developed through sharing knowledge with fellow students, from people in industry through iClub luncheons and by competing amongst one another through the stock tipping competition.

iClub Luncheons

iClub Luncheons  provide members with an invaluable opportunity to talk to members of industry, learning about the industry and current financial news.

Previous speakers include:

Tim Whittaker, an analyst in Corporate Finance at Deloitte.

Adam Walk who is a funds manager at QSuper, with a $60 Billion portfolio under his supervision.

Ben Harrison who is an Executive of the Equity Capital Management at Wilson HTM.

Tim Sharpe who recently completed his Honours in Banking & Finance at QUT, and now working at Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC).

James Dick,  President of the Economics Society of Australia and Senior Portfolio Manager for Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC).
